About this deal

It’s been a little while since I reviewed Jareth the Goblin King from the Funko Pop range of Labyrinth figures but I’ve finally gotten around to sorting out pictures of the Labyrinth Ludo Pop Vinyl figure. I personally have thoroughly enjoyed collecting Star Wars figures for the past twenty-five-plus years. The figure is a great representation of Ludo and is a great reminder how Funko’s real strength is when it comes to non-human characters. Don’t get me wrong, I’m constantly amazed by how Funko capture the likenesses of people with so little detail but non human characters are often more detailed and Funko really excel when it comes to detailing. All Funko Pops are packaged expertly and shipped in a FREE POP protector (standard 10 cm POPs only).

The box features the Labyrinth 30th anniversary logo and shows the other figures available in the range. Ludo is the big loveable creature that Sarah finds hung upside down and being tormented by Goblins as she navigates her way through Jareth’s Labyrinth. The fur sculpting is awesome here and this particular figure had very nice paint applications too which is an area where Funko can be particularly weak.

Often the oversized Pops seem to be done for the sake of it, whereas in this instance Ludo is perfect for the larger scale. If you feel that is the case (ie new POPs or more likely older rare Grails) then please let us know. Furthermore, I personally have had the privilege to boost my Star Wars collection through this company. Labyrinth has become a cult fantasy film, after it initially wasn’t that well received on release back in 1986. The action figure of Ludo (Supersized), from the Labyrinth franchise is a POP which came out in July 2016.

Something that always surprises me is how much detail Funko put into the back of it’s Pop Vinyl figures, many companies leave the backs fairly blank and place copyright stamps there but Funko put tremendous effort in as you can see here with Ludo, much like they did with Jareth’s jacket.

Excellent for the money and I wasn't expecting it to be so big, Ludo pop figure comes in a huge box and is very detailed to the way he looks in the movie.

The Ludo Pop Vinyl on the other hand is extremely cute and it’s hard to imagine anyone not finding it to be a very sweet figure. markets and sells products, including children's products, for purchase by adults 18 years and over. Note: On rare occasions the sticker used (if any) or box art (if Funko have manufactured multiple waves e.It’s really hard to see any Labyrinth fan not loving the Labyrinth Ludo Pop Vinyl figure, sure he may not be David Bowie and his bulging crotch but a big orange monster with a speech impediment is a damn fine runner up! and Jennifer Connelly as Sarah are mixed with a cast of Jim Henson created puppets based on the work of, famed, Faries painter Brian Froud. Though, in all that time collecting, I have yet to find any action figure distribution company so well put together as EE! Ludo is a very large character in the film, consequently his Funko Pop is an oversized one to get his scale right with the other Labyrinth Funko Pops – Sarah, Jareth and Hoggle.
