About this deal

He is this super sexy man dealing with his own insecurities and past relationship trauma but he champions women every day for his job. even though the main couple aren't together, I felt a little stomach sick when the third person was brought in towards the end, haha. What follows is a friends to lovers, super spicy, fun banter, find yourself romance with some serious swoony moments!

I love how he’s so patient with her and willing to take things at her pace to ensure that she doesn’t keep taking steps backward. After getting dumped, on her 30th birthday and literally DURING her wedding proposal, her confidence is at an all time low and when the chance to fish-sit for her client, Dex, arises. I’m a little conflicted with this one as on one hand I loved it but on the other there were certainly parts I didn’t like. Because she’s more of a plus-sized character, like me, I really appreciated the raw emotions that Avery struggled with and I loved how supportive Finn was of her and how he never ignored her feelings but loved her through them! The beginning of this book was the FMC being dumped by her ex because he wasn’t satisfied with their sex life. But overall, the idea was good, the spicy scenes were good and I liked the body positive message of the book. She traces my length through my jeans with her hand before she unzips me and teases me through my briefs. It was also a mark again Finn as up until that scene he was a nice guy and it was a complete juxtaposition of the character that author had built up. Overall I enjoyed the storyline and I loved Finn, he was sweet and supportive, a genuinely all around nice guy.

She’s got a lot going for her - a good job, a long term boyfriend… then in the blink of an eye everything changes. We get to see her be this strong bad ass business women who is so confident in herself professional life but still struggles with her body image. The spice is GREAT and I think if you're able to connect with the FMC you'll really like it more than I did.I wish I saw more Lennox and gramps and even Dex and less of the other characters that made it in this book. I can say that I have a high tolerance for OW and OM, but when that line is crossed you know is that bad.

There is a lot of spice in this book, it is after all focused on Avery asking Finn for sex lessons soooooo it should be expected. Steamy next door neighbor, and learning he’s the sweetest, most perfect gentleman who treats women incredibly well, she decides to ask if he can teach her how to be better in the bedroom in exchange for rebranding his photography business. But there was was too much drama thrown in, it kind of took away from the positive vibes I was getting in this book.Again, you have created a story that I can completely immerse myself in and have to grieve when it’s over. Finn walks in and finds them and Avery, in her mind-boggled desperation to be what Finn wants, or what she thinks he wants (PLEASE JUST COMMUNICATE), tries to start a threesome. Seriously we first meet him hyping up a 70yr old women during a photoshoot and the way he speaks to her will make you swoon. Honestly this is such a personal gripe I know and I’m sure this worked for some, but I couldn’t stand it at all. Why must the women in spicy romance books always be at each others throats and always mean and rude and horrible?

I loved that even through her hardest times she was collected, poised and the queen Finn eventually made her believe she has already been.So this conversation started to feel a little weird, because earlier in the book both characters were adamant about not sharing, about being exclusive to each other. I think the most accurate to my feelings are that while I respect, admire, and appreciate the premise of a story like this, parts of the actual execution missed the mark. Decides that she will take up her client friend on an offer to take care of his fish for the summer while he’s away on vacation.
