For more about 2001: A Space Odyssey 4K and the 2001: A Space Odyssey 4K Blu-ray release, see 2001: A Space Odyssey 4K Blu-ray Review published by Jeffrey Kauffman on September 28, 2023 where this Blu-ray release scored 5.Featuring such luminaries as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, it’s the perfect partner piece for the first documentary, filling in that documentary’s ‘gaps’. Sure, the 1080p online version will do to get the overall idea, we’re not saying it’s that bad, but you will miss out and settle for a strangely harsh but at the same time undetailed playing of a masterpiece that boils over with detail. The characters are painfully naturalistic, relationships are cold and unnerving, and the ending is vague and experimental.

is a movie so iconic that Barbie, one of the biggest box office hits of 2023 so far, payed homage to it right from its opening scene…how many young viewers sat in the cinema noticed that one! Stanley Kubrick redefined the limits of filmmaking in his classic science fiction masterpiece, a contemplation on the nature of humanity, 2001: A Space Odyssey.sheet identifies as having been "completed in 1999 (for the previous DVD and Blu-ray releases)" and a new 5. number of other printed analyses, including a really deluxe hardback out from the venerable folks at Taschen.
